Basic Grilling Techniques (Gas or charcoal*)
Format: Theory & hands-on
Whether you’re just starting out or have some grilling/BBQ experience, you will have a great time picking up additional tips to master the art of grilling. This class will focus on grilling techniques and how to evaluate the food you’re planning to cook and what techniques to apply. *This class will be taught using a gas grill by default. Do let us know in advance if you prefer to learn using a charcoal grill as it will take an additional 30 mins to set up.

Understanding the 7 Ts of Grilling
Understanding various temperature zones
Importance of pre-heating your grill
Understanding how to achieve juicy meats & seafood
How to cook using reverse-sear method
Understanding meat temperatures to achieve perfect doneness
Importance of resting your meats and catering for carry over cooking
How to slice your meats and plating your food for presentation

Alcoholic drinks are available for purchase
The class will be conducted in a hands-on format and will include 15 minutes of dining time. Guests will work in pairs to prepare all the dishes listed.

A minimum of 4 participants is required to proceed with this class. Should the class not reach minimum numbers, we will notify you no later than three days prior to the scheduled date. Guests will be welcome to reschedule for another date or obtain a refund if preferred.
